Effective 5 July 2026 · Last updated 5 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Neocloud Group ("Neocloud Group," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit neocloudgroup.com (the "Site") or contact us through it. We keep this deliberately plain. If anything here is unclear, ask us.
When you submit the contact form, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name and email address, and information about your role, your site or asset (such as asset type, approximate power capacity, location or market, and stage), and anything you write in the message field. You decide how much to share.
When you visit the Site, we and our analytics provider automatically collect standard technical data: your IP address (anonymized by our analytics), browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and an approximate location inferred from your IP address. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, described in section 2.
Using the categories set out in California law, the information above falls into:
| Category | What we collect | Source | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email address, IP address | You; automatic | Respond to you; operate and secure the Site |
| Professional / commercial information | Your role and details about your site, asset, power capacity, location, and stage | You (form) | Evaluate a potential engagement |
| Internet / network activity | Pages viewed, referring page, browser and device type | Automatic (analytics) | Understand and improve the Site |
| Geolocation (approximate) | General region inferred from IP address | Automatic | Analytics and security |
We do not collect Social Security or government-ID numbers, financial-account credentials, precise geolocation, or other "sensitive personal information" as that term is defined under California law, and we do not use information to build behavioral profiles.
We use Google Analytics (GA4), a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf, with IP addresses anonymized. You can review Google's practices at policies.google.com/privacy and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser opt-out add-on.
| Cookie / technology | Provider | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Distinguish visitors and measure how the Site is used | Up to 2 years |
| Essential / preference cookies | Neocloud Group / our host | Basic Site function and your preferences | Session to 1 year |
We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not currently run advertising or retargeting pixels. If we add advertising or retargeting tools in the future, we will update this Policy, disclose the providers here, and provide a way to opt out. You can also control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
Service providers. We share information with vendors who help us run the Site and our business, in the following categories of third parties: our website host, our form and email provider (which delivers and stores your inquiry), and our analytics provider (Google). They may use the information only to provide services to us, under contract.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Neocloud Group, our users, or others. If we are ever involved in a merger, financing, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.
We keep information only as long as we need it, then delete or anonymize it. In practice:
The exact period depends on the nature of the information, our legitimate business needs, and any legal obligation to retain it.
You can ask us to review, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us. To make a request, email privacy@neocloudgroup.com with enough detail for us to identify your information. We will confirm receipt and respond within a reasonable time, and within 45 days where a specific law requires it.
To protect you, we may need to verify your identity before we act, usually by confirming that you control the email address associated with the information. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf if they provide proof of authorization, and we may still ask you to confirm the request directly.
Depending on your circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold, to obtain a copy, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is currently nothing to opt out of. If that changes, we will provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" option and honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right, and if we decline a request we will tell you why and how to ask us to reconsider. To exercise any right, email privacy@neocloudgroup.com.
When you contact us, we will reply about your inquiry. We do not currently send marketing newsletters. If we begin sending marketing email, every message will identify us, include a working unsubscribe link, and comply with the US CAN-SPAM Act; you will be able to opt out of marketing at any time, and doing so will not affect our replies to a direct inquiry from you.
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, the Site does not currently respond to them. If we introduce advertising cookies in the future, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. The Site is intended for a business audience, is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to make them more prominent. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
